The Gift of Tongues
Shinobiashi's most apparent and most often used gift is the gift of tongues. This gift allows him to learn new languages quickly and easily, though he often needs help in understanding those languages. It extends only to spoken languages. So far he speaks the languages used by the plants, foxes, and has a somewhat limited understanding of that used by humans.
The Gift of Growth
Early in his life, Shinobiashi was taught by his adoptive mother to aid in the growth of plants with the use of his personal energy. With this gift he can grow and shape plants into any form he chooses, and heal those plants that are ill as well. He does, however, have little experience with this art, and cannot yet handle much of its use.
Herbal Knowledge
Through the gift of tongues and the instinctive co-operation of the plants, Shinobiashi has a deep knowledge of the uses of plants in healing. Unlike his plant-growth technique, he has a great deal of skill and experience in this as well, even in dealing with human injuries. His innate compassion makes him an excellent healer, and his manners make him very welcome indeed to the injured. |
