Description- Ky's taken a bit after her mother, tallish for her age, with the same brown hair and eyes, narrow face and cheerful spirit. Less withdrawn, though, her good nature tends to show in her expression, and she takes more care with her appearance, tending to braid her long hair back elaborately with ribbons and dress as well as her means allow. She's long been charmed by her dragonrider mother, and though she doesn't wear it around the Hold, Tyani gave her one of her worn-out riding jackets to wear when she takes occasional trips between with the pair, on rest days.
History- Raised by a Holder woman well outside the Weyr, Kyeli is very familiar with Hold attitudes, and passingly familiar with those of the Weyr from stories her mother's told her (and, of course, the horror stories Holders will tell). Having never lived in a Weyr, she's not quite sure what to think. Mothers tend to exaggerate, after all. In any case, she was raised reasonably well, but never could quite avoid dreaming about dragonriding-- not surprising, given how kind and affectionate Tisoth's always been to her, and the mystique the riders have even when they don't intend to develop it. So when Tisoth indicated that she'd be suitable to Stand, she was thrilled, and wouldn't take no for an answer. The results haven't been quite what she expected.
Skills- Kyeli's learned some pretty standard stuff for Holder life, including sewing, cooking, cleaning, and so on. She's also shown an interest in the tanning craft despite the stench associated with it, probably because Tyeli's gifted her with hides from their hunting before,
and she learned to work with it from one of the tanners at the Hold. She's not quite worked up the courage to ask about apprenticing yet-- and now that she's been Searched, may never.
Personality- Ky's a good natured girl who's never really known hardship, other than the day-to-day work of Hold life. She loves the lighthearted Hold dances, particularly reels. Although too young to really be flirtatious, she's starting to wonder about this business of boys that has the girls of a year or two older than she rather wrapped up. She's a little doubtful about them, though, since most of them seem to dissolve into giggling, and they're often disgusted by tannercraft work that fascinates her. Though not quite a tomboy, she's definitely got a bit of her mother's no-nonsense attitude about her, and a confidence even Tyani doesn't have.

Kyeli owns two firelizards; both surreptitious gifts from her mother after Tyeli came across a clutch of eggs while hunting southern. She packed back the rest of the eggs to High Reaches, as was appropriate, but made a quick stop first to give these two to her daughter.
They hatched a blue and a green; Kyeli (who was only ten at the time) named the green Zig and the blue Zag. She's recently been trying to get them to recognize Zinnizig and Zagget instead, but really only introduces them that way formally; she may feel it gives them a little more dignity, but they only know those aren't the names they've been called for their first four turns of life.
Zinni(Zig) is a dark-hued green with touches of yellow like highlighting. She's sweet-tempered as greens go, though as flighty as any. Zagget is sharper-tempered, but rarely stays annoyed for long. It's gotten him into occasional trouble, though, along with his thieving. He's a warm hue only a shade or two darker than Tisoth's (which has led the dragon to be rather amused by him), but without any distinguishing markings.
