Skills: Born and raised at a rather large Hold, Rylia learned the basics early - cooking, tidying, sewing, etc. Recently, she's been progressing nicely under the stern supervision of Ista Hold's Headwoman, If stubbornness and force of will are considered skills, then she's beginning to develop those at a good rate.
Hair: Dirty blonde and down to about mid-back. She most often wears it in a single braid. Eyes: Deep blue, and nothing very remarkable otherwise. Her eyebrows have a graceful arch to them, and when she's irritated or challenging someone, that arch becomes far more pronounced.
Height: Rylia is of fairly average height, though she probably falls on the shorter part of the spectrum. To put a number to it, she stands at approximately 5 feet, 3 inches.
Build: We'll put it this way to begin - it's a good thing Rylia has a forceful personality, or she wouldn't have much to build her intimidating nature by. While by no means petite, Rylia is rather small. She's kept herself in good shape by working at the Hold, but she's by no means a very muscular individual.
Complexion: Rylia's skin has a touch of an olive overtone to it. She's not tan, but it may appear she's seen a little sun due to the yellows present.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Rylia's force of will can be considered both a strength and a weakness. it's quite easy to overlook her physically, but if she's got something to say or has an opinion on something, she rarely allows anyone to glaze over her. However, her sharp tongue and impulsive nature have also been known to get her into trouble with her elders. She's also quite stubborn, and tends to persist with something even after she's been proven wrong or discovered that something else may be easier - then, she's just got to prove that her way is /possible/, at least. She's beginning to develop some skill as a leader, which may be viewed as a strength ... though her methods of leading aren't always the best. Personality: For all the talk of stubborness and forcefulness, Rylia /can/ be a nice person. Once you've befriended her (which often feels like a test to be deemed worthy, unfortunately), she really will work to make sure the friendship thrives and is as persistent and dogged in friendship as she is with anything else. However, the same holds true for anyone she views as an enemy or a threat; she would never /actively/ plot anyone's demise, but should the opportunity arise, she would go out of her way to make life a little more difficult for someone. Her stubborn streak is a mile wide - her mean one less so, but it's still present.
History: Rylia's story is quite a mundane one. Ryelin and Liana were both born, raised, and worked at Ista Hold their entire lives. They were friends, then best friends, and were finally wed when Ryelin was 24 and Liana was 21. The two only lived together for a few months before Liana became pregnant, and they had their first child the next year. Lina only lived for a short time as an only child - Rylia came just on the heels of Lina's third birthday, just in time for the first child to completely resent the second for ever having been born. The only thing that made Rylia's childhood difficult was her sister. There was a healthy sibling rivalry between them, and it's likely due to Lina's influence that Rylia is as stubborn as she is. The girls' parents knew enough not to play favorites, and always treated them well, even after their third and final child, Ryeli, was born. Ryeli really wasn't ever involved in the sibling rivalry - much younger, and a boy besides. But that's jumping ahead quite a bit. Rylia's life became a little simpler when Lina was old enough to get out into the Hold to earn her keep. Rylia followed suit shortly after, and decided that she wanted to do anything but work in the kitchens, where her sister would once again have free rein to terrorize her. Her mirroring of the Headwoman was, at first, unintentional, but it became a job as much as it could be before too much time went by. And so went seventeen years of Rylia's life, until recently, when Raek Weyr came Searching. Several young people from the Hold were Searched, and Rylia was among them. Reluctant to leave the life she knew at the Hold but all to ready to leave her sister behind, Rylia accepted.
