Personality- Though Zelek is a very quiet boy he is ambitious like his father. He dreams secretly of making something of himself whether it be a dragonrider or harper. Not very strong physically, Zelek never took part in the common wrestling between siblings since he had none. He has an extremely good memory and it is surprising to find him ever forget something or is late.
History- His mother died giving birth to him at the young age of fifteen. Aramis, still in depression after loosing his dragon didn’t really care that he had gotten the drudge pregnant or that she was dead.
Under the influence of alcohol, Aramis beat Zelek daily. This resulted in Zelek’s tendency to stray away from crowds. He caught the eye of the Weyr’s harper and soon developed skills in that area.
The next thing the Weyr knew, Aramis was lying dead on the floor of his room a neat whole in his heart. Though they never tried to prove it, they all thought Zelek had committed the crime. The Weyrleader was all for making the young boy holdless when a rebellious greenrider decided to bring the boy to Raek Weyr.
