Jim's Family

James Tansey, Sr: Jim has lived in Leominster, Massachusetts most of his life. He married Glady Caisse, in 1940. Glady's died in June 1968. He has been a resident of Mariner Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Fitchburg, Massachusetts since 1988. Besides Jim, Jr, the oldest, He has a daughter Barbara. Jim served in the US Navy during WWII. He was stationed aboard the USS LST 745 and seen much action in the Pacific. New Monument dedicated to Amphibious Forces of the US now at Carter Park, Leominster. He worked most of his life as a woodworker and retired from Selig Furniture Mfg Co, formerly of Leominster. Jim passed away on April 19th, 1998 at Mariner in Fitchburg, MA where he was a resident for about 9 years.Both Gladys and Jim are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster, MA.

THE EARLY YEARS

Barbara Tansey: Barbara lives with foster parents, Sheila and Craig Golden, at Penacook Drive in Leominster, Massachusetts. She is retarded and sometimes works at Fitchburg State College and the Workshop in Fitchburg. She is well known around the city and has the unique ability to remember everyone's birthdays.

Cecelia Caisse: (Aunt Sis passed away on September 26th, 1997)Sis lived on Grand Street in Leominster. Her husband Earl is deceased. She has three sons: Donald and wife Joan live in Leominster; Paul and wife ?; and Bruce and wife.
Harold Caisse: Lives in Leominster. Harold has two daughters: Mary McDonald and Margaret. His wife Margarie is deceased.
Anne Caisse: Anne lives on Grand Street and has three sons: Michael, Joey, and Jefferey. Her husband Roger is deceased.
Janice Giannini (nee Hastings) (formerlly Corliss) : Janny lives on Hall Street With her husband Dan and has three sons, Mark Corliss,
Joan (nee Montagna) and Dennis Lanciani : Joan and Dennis live on Union Street and have two sons Gregg and David.
Lorraine (nee Hastings) : Lorraine lives in Hudson, MA with husband Jim.
