The cold air intake is made of 4" sewer pipe, not pvc pipe which is thicker. The sewer pipe is thinwall so it flows more! Very easy to install although it will require some clearence cutting inside the brace in your fender. Not much though. The system sounds very cool and the performance gain was noticeable in the butt dyno! :) I went from a 3" set-up this and it is WELL worth the upgrade! Parts needed can be bought from hardware store except for the K&N filter. You'll need, 1ea 22deg 4" pvc elbow 1ea 90deg 4" rubber elbow 1ea 4" sewer pipe, 10' section was 3.45! 1ea 3" to 4" rubber adapter That's it! Less than 70.00 including K&N! Use a 7" or 9" w/ 4" outlet K&N cone filter. I had room for a 9" but double check your own application. Again, Thanks to Chris for his help and design! |
