This three dimensional reality is always in a search for higher '4th' dimensional ideals. Our physical creations are always in some way an interpretation of a higher idea or ideal. Indeed every physical object is first a thought before it becomes manifest into concrete reality. The same could be said for our very selves or the world or universe in general, born of the universal mind. Our incarnations could have been very well a thought 'we' had which is now manifested as 'us'. There are more obvious examples however. Humanity has long been on a quest for understanding and is itself an aspect of creation. Being that we have the capacity to understand creation we have the drive to create for ourselves. In our attempts to create an intelligence we have acheived in creating a reflection of ourselves. Much like the way we are a reflection of a larger intelligence. What I am talking about is computers. Whether it was intentional or drawn from subconscious promptings the computer is very analogous to our own human mind. Thinking of the brain as a computer can help alot of people in this era to understand the workings of mind. In this case we would be the computer and the user. In our mind is stored all the information that ever needs to be uncovered. This information is much like encoded bits of data locked away inside the circuitry of a computer. In order to unlock these hidden files one must first be aware that they are there. After this it is a matter of learning the proper access code to gain entry into these files. Our brains have been conditioned from birth to accept certain things and to push other things back , way down into the recesses of our subconscious awareness. Our reality is defined by our own definition of it. .. Society has agreed on the way life is lived and experienced in this world and we are then exposed to this and of course we will follow suit because we accept the reality with which we are presented. This is how we become transfixed and blinded by the apparent surfaces of things and lose the real meaning of that thing underneath its shiny , familiar, safe exterior. There is another correlation here concerning computers that is co-evolving with its idealic counterpart, which is the internet. The internet is a vast storehouse of information . If each computer represents a human mind, then the internet represents the collective consciousness and unconscious. It is both a storehouse of information ready to be pulled from and it also serves to link every computer/mind with every other computer/mind through this vast ocean of exchange and ideas, thus allowing each to be an independantly functioning unit but also experience connection to the larger whole. |

Another example of the way our exterior world is constructed of higher ideals is through language. Language often reflects these ideals without us ever even knowing and the study of word origins can be a great tool in learning to understand the way we are all united in mind and how our reality is a mirror of the shapeless world of thought. |

The very words we use help to define our existance in the world around us. Words are powerful and they can evoke many feelings inside of us and in turn effect they way we view the world. Take the word metaphysical for example. To apply this word to a particular idea also now associates this idea with the connotations that people derive from that word. To say something is meta-physical is implying that it is beyond the ordinary, something not attainable perhaps, or something that is concocted in imagination. This is a major stepping stone for people who are hard pressed to accept anything that cannot be readily explained through the available sciences. Skepticism is understandable but the implications that arise from the tag metaphysical already put that idea at risk of being deemed superstitious or mythological in nature. The term E.S.P. is a self defeating label. When we call this extra sensory perception we are then condemning it to the critical eye of the ego mind. To call this 'extra' sensory is saying that it is something that goes beyond the ordinary capabilities of the average person. This is not only incorrect but it is a major obstacle in the development of these faculties of mind. There is nothing extraordinary about it except for our perception. These are natural components of our awareness. The difference is that they have become much like an unused muscle. It has gone unnoticed and unused so that now it has become atrophied. Just as when one of our actual muscles becomes atrophied , it now takes a long ,sometimes painful and ardous application of will to fully realize the functioning of this muscle. The lack of evidence of E.S.P.in the life of the ordinary man is not evidence for the non existance of it ,only of its neglect. As is in all situations , it is our perception that defines our understanding of what it is we are undertaking. |

To use the word god in today's society is enough to make one look like some kind of medeival throwback , it is inundated with associated connotations and is probably the most misused word in any language. With the word god comes all of the meanings that society has created for us and implanted in our heads. Thus it is attacked by those who would hold themselves to be 'modern thinkers' , and what do we have to thank for this but the very institution that holds itself up to be the champions of god.. the church. A fundamental reconditioning is in order to get past this block. A redefinition of the term using words and ideas that come from a modern mindset and understanding is necessary for us to come to terms with this thing. I rebelled against everything that was associated with this thing called 'god' until I realized that it wasn't god I disliked, but the people who have tried to twist its meaning to fit their own agenda's and the institutions that have used the ideas a controlling device . It was society that was dictating my reaction to this idea, it was the face that our society had painted for us that I was looking at, not my own understanding of the concept. Through serious examination it became evident that there was a lot more going on in the universe than was understood, that the universe itself is not some random collection of coincidences and chaos, but a finely tuned mechanism, an ecosystem in its own right, and one that clearly demonstrates an intelligent design. Chaos is merely order unseen. The big picture has many smaller, seemingly independant and unrelated portraits inside itself which when placed side by side reveal a grand tapestry of unparralelled design .The pictures are not coincidental or random at all, but are each woven into the whole with a fine precision. |
