He finds Salio Doran, who tells him that Volkenar is once again sealed within Traemin's human body, and that Salio himself now possessed the Book of Prophecy. K'mael demands the Book's return...
Salio is suprised at K'mael's demand. "After having been enslaved to it for so long, you would so quickly have it back?"
K'mael responds, "The Book is power, Cleric. It is purpose, and though I do not know its ultimate objective, I find I am still driven by that purpose. Its fate will always be linked to my own."
Salio, while moved by the mage's conviction, still refuses to hand over the Book. And when K'mael tries to take it by force, he vanishes.
