She begins to explore the place, finding her young son Peter in the next room. She continues on and sees someone outside sweeping the front porch. At first glance, it appears to be the android Sif, but when Everline looks closer she realizes that the girl was human! The human Sif tells her that this was in fact Everline's own home, and that she was recovering from a fierce fever. Everline, confused and angry, decides to play along until she can find out just what was going on in this strange place.
