Shalom
Hey, I'll even top that. I found another great Waldo quote this week: "Health is the first muse, and sleep the condition for it."
Man, that guy wrote a LOT of great stuff. I've got a creep of all creeps story for you: No one on this island seem to comprehend the actions of a man who owns a local spa-resort on the island here. His name is James and here is a recent occurence: James recenlty hired a woman to do massage therapy. As per usual, he let her come and stay in one of the on site cabins while she was going for her job interview. That next morning she awoke to find him inside her cabin beside her bed staring at her. Apparently, the alarm clock was broke and he came to make sure she rose on time. Then this lady, Eva, composed herself and respectfully asked him to leave since she wanted to get up and wash and so forth. When she gets out of the bathroom, he is still there, sitting on the bed, saying, "well, that didn't take long".
Needless to say, she did not take the job but insteand found a much better one where my mom works. But can you believe this? What is this guy's problem? Everyone on this island would love to know lol.
Debbie, I wish I had your daughter's ability. I am still sore about a young lady my mum works with. The last time I was here, this girl got drunk and propositioned me and made lude comments which I most certainly did not appreciate. Apparently she has a serious drinking problem but I don't care. I don't know how women have ever handled men doing that (and I know men do do that all the time). It made me physically ill. ANd still does to think of it. She was such a nice young girl and then, add alcohol, whammo, rude and crude.
Enough of that. It is actually a gorgeous day here. Early snow and chilly , now the sun is coming out even as light flakes still fall to the ground. What a strange and wonderful climate we have.
Please check out the following link, you will Love It!
Its from the site of the spirituality called "eckankar" and this link is a sacred sound sung by a small choir. It is short but absolutely beautiful: "a love song to God" they say :-)

Thank you for all of your thoughts, opinions and beliefs re:judaism. I included some in one of my online journal entries, omitted some of the more provocative points for my eyes only. I know one has to be sensitive about such things.
There is a link on one of my pages that belongs to the fine woman who practices eckankar (eck is the holy spirit). It is quite an interesting faith. Anyway, this same woman has some great links poem and meditations at her site, which is really well organised. I invite you to check it out. You can get there with just a click of your mouse at

"The Realm" is under My Favourite Links. Anyway, just a thought.
If you have any biblical references or other comments about what you mentioned about the geographical extent of the borders of Israel, please send to me. I find that intriguing.
I hope your recovery from surgery is progressing satisfactorily for you. I welcome your friendship and return your compliments effortlessly with a little dash of pixie dust for good measure.
Aloha for now,
