ternumpace: anything new with you today, sugar?

0_sugar_0: Hi!  lol, the usual, managable chaos around here

eternumpace: chaos is alright. just don't let it get too out of control or I might have to come down there and whoop some butt

0_sugar_0: lol

0_sugar_0: open a can of whoop ass as they say down here

eternumpace: yeah. a can of whoop ass from aisle seven

0_sugar_0: thought whoop ass was on aisle 12...lol

eternumpace: they moved it because too many white people were confusing it with chef boyardi

0_sugar_0: LMAO

eternumpace: they would come home, start making dinner and whoop! there it was

eternumpace: speaking of which, there is no greater Order in the universe than in a supermarket. what do you think about that?

eternumpace: the inventon of dry and canned goods should be listed in the seven wonders of the world

0_sugar_0: hhmm....don't know about that...it's effecient, set up to sell to spur of the moment buyers...but...

eternumpace: but what?

0_sugar_0: I would have to say the most efficient thing I've ever seen is my mothers closets and cabinets, shes the most anal retentive person in the world

0_sugar_0: so anal retentive, you couldn't pull a pin outta her butt with a tractro

0_sugar_0: tractor

eternumpace: hahaha. that's funny. according to Freud, that means she didn't play with her butt enough when she was 3 or 4

eternumpace: maybe she needs some regression therapy

eternumpace: remember, pushing stuff through a small hole?

0_sugar_0: brb phone

eternumpace: kk

eternumpace: actually, i think that particular stage of development also coincides with the jam sandwich in the VCR stage

0_sugar_0: damn, I got company coming over, they need to use my shower as theirs is not working for some reason

eternumpace: that is nice of you

0_sugar_0: hey, I hate not being able to shower myself...lol, I don't blame the guy for wanting to be clean, he has a messy job and comes home dirty

0_sugar_0: see ya hun, take care

eternumpace: take care

janiepop: hello there

eternumpace: Hi, i was just about to im you

eternumpace: but you beat me to it

janiepop: well it's early in OZ lol

eternumpace: really? what time is it?

janiepop: 7.45am

eternumpace: oh.

eternumpace: its quarter to 2 in the afternoon here

janiepop: are you chatting ?

eternumpace: no

eternumpace: i was just puttering around

janiepop: can you give me a couple of minutes and then we can hav a quick catch up

eternumpace: yes. i need a moment myself

janiepop: good

janiepop: I am now here lol

janiepop: how was Easter ?

eternumpace: hey

janiepop: btw you are the only person I have left on my friends list

eternumpace: really??

janiepop: I have recently had yet another very difficult experience in chat

eternumpace: what happened? do tell

janiepop: testosteroen blindness

janiepop: ne

janiepop: it's a bad kind of thing

eternumpace: did people gang up on you? i've seen that happen. hell, it's happened to me

janiepop: yes

janiepop: that ganging up thing is bad

eternumpace: it is some kind of sociological glitch i think

janiepop: yes what is it

janiepop: ?

eternumpace: that's sad to hear, though

janiepop: I'm ok and still chat but I am resolved not to make friends

eternumpace: you know, the more I learn about the mysteries of the world, the more I see how messed up we all are hehe

janiepop: that was nver my original brief in any case

janiepop: I just like to learn ..if friendship ensues so much the better

eternumpace: why the saints and masters and such have had to come to earth and teach

janiepop: that's nice ..ty

eternumpace: yeah. same here. i was happily surprised to to make friends online

janiepop: you are surely included in that number

janiepop: but don't you dare let me down

janiepop: or I'll give up hope that it is possible

janiepop: about the sociological glitch .....

eternumpace: not I. not I. i have been reading an indian yogi book though

janiepop: my current working hypothesis is this .....

eternumpace: yes?

janiepop: people are very frightened of smart people

eternumpace: ya

janiepop: they find it hard to discredit ya in line

janiepop: because you don't have a physical persona etc

eternumpace: well, anyone that challenges our accustomed prejudices. to borrow a line from einstein, "for a lot of people, intelligence is just the sum of all our acquired prejudices by age 18"

janiepop: that's very good very good

janiepop: or my other favourite is Bertrand Russell's line ...some people would rather die than think and they often do

eternumpace: well you know, we all have a lot to learn, a lot to confront in ourselves. to borrow another line from a movie "the imagination is the only thing that can make the active self-excamination possible or even enjoyable"

janiepop: yes it's true

eternumpace: i like that russell quote. i find it applies to me a lot lately

janiepop: now the other feature that folks don't like is the simple act of being happy

eternumpace: as i heal my mind i realize that as smart as I may be, i have a lot of basic things to learn about socialization and just common childhood fears i never learned to overcome

eternumpace: i have had my own implosions online

eternumpace: and let me tell you, when i go down, i go down in flames lol

eternumpace: YES. being happy. whenever i am happy, i always wonder why i am not happy all the time. reminds of something i learned about how emotions can effect the mind

eternumpace: how when one is depressed one tends to think one knows what everyone else is thinking and make these absurd assumptions

janiepop: and the absolutely worst target you can make yourself is happy and smart

eternumpace: on here? yeah. for sure. that's why i tend to stay in world religion often all by myself lol

eternumpace: of course, the people who act mean are only doing that as their own defense and so the spiral goes ug

janiepop: you are good company though ...to yourself

janiepop: to be fair

janiepop: I have really refined my own thinking in chat though

eternumpace: yeah, self is good company. reminds me of another line about "the hero of the way of thought"..."who arrives at the centre of his or her own being and finds that instead of being alone, he or she is with all the world"

janiepop: that is quite profound

eternumpace: it is from "the hero with a thousand faces" by myth master Joseph Campbell. he is excellent

janiepop: I have very little time alone

janiepop: I HAVE to read this author

eternumpace: yes. you MUST

janiepop: it's a hard thing mate

eternumpace: do you work lots?

janiepop: when you're married with children

janiepop: and work yes

eternumpace: you're a busy gal

janiepop: to have much peace

eternumpace: have you ever tried a little stress release yoga?

janiepop: actaully I am going today

eternumpace: grrrreat

janiepop: that's funny that you shoule mnetion it

eternumpace: i have heard yoga referred to as the poetry of the body

janiepop: I have sore knees

janiepop: and not all exercise works for me

eternumpace: the body is the wedding guest and the wedding

janiepop: actually it's Tai Chi

eternumpace: i took that from the rime of the ancient mariner. sorry.  i digress

eternumpace: Tai Chi. i have always wanted to try that

janiepop: I wish I could have learned that earlier lol

janiepop: this is Tai Chi for sore knees

janiepop: lol

eternumpace: good good

janiepop: for folks with a bit of arthritis actually

janiepop: but I digress

eternumpace: you know, the older i get the more stupid i look in the past the more certain i am some God or other has taken care of me lol

janiepop: may I ask ...how have you been

eternumpace: i heard sex is good for arthritis

janiepop: did you indeed

eternumpace: me? i have been progressing slowly but surely, feels like a sortof slow awakening

eternumpace: talking with you has been of great value to me. we have such good rap sessions.

janiepop: well as to sex and arthritis ........my sex drive at my age couldn't quite ameliorate the sore knees lol

eternumpace: ameliorate. what a cool word.

janiepop: I'd have to be at it day and night ...lol

eternumpace: me, on the other hand, if i had arthritis, it would be a terminal illness

janiepop: women at my age and stage might but ........

janiepop: lol

janiepop: very funny

eternumpace: ha ha

eternumpace: you seem very young though

janiepop: ameliorate ..yes it is cool

janiepop: young in spirit at 57

eternumpace: i have an epal . she is about 50 and said she was carded the liquor store recently. that must have felt good.

janiepop: the bod sure feels like it some days lol

eternumpace: did you see A BEautiful Mind??

janiepop: I did

janiepop: did you ?

eternumpace: i read that the real reason the shizo character got better was because of aging

eternumpace: yeah. i saw it

janiepop: yes the illness does tend to lesson over time

eternumpace: but love didn't hurt that guy any, either

janiepop: love didn't

janiepop: in actual fact .....

janiepop: this is where personality comes in

janiepop: nice people attract love

eternumpace: do you think that the aging factor is related to Memory? i read also that researcheers are finding that the parts of the mind invovled in imagination and spacial object recognition are not the same (as was once believed)

eternumpace: i think sugar is trying to sign on

janiepop: not all folks with schizophrenia are specially lovable

eternumpace: yes. i have heard

janiepop: sugar is sweet

eternumpace: and they don't all look liek russel crowe lol

eternumpace: i like sugar, yeah

janiepop: no they don't look liek russell nor as brilliant as john nash

janiepop: people with schizophrenia often learn to cope andmanage their delusions etc

eternumpace: the researchers used brain imaging tech and ask participants to a) look at an object and b) rotate the obj in their minds

eternumpace: what a fascinating disease. i still believe there is a strong sociological factor in it

janiepop: the current model of schizophrnia is a stress vulnerability one

eternumpace: yes. i agree

janiepop: and is highly complicated by some drugs

janiepop: amphetamines in particular

janiepop: canabis less

janiepop: and ver low doses of drugs can exacerbate sumptomatology

eternumpace: i found, myself, incredibly low stress tolerance whenever i smoked canabis socially

eternumpace: or drinking fo rthat matter

janiepop: best to give it a wide bearth

eternumpace: i don't use either

janiepop: good man

janiepop: yes follks report that

janiepop: low stress tolerance

eternumpace: i did experiment with canabis by myself over a period of several weeks one year and had some fascinating results with it. a very unique drug when used in close succession

janiepop: Landon ....I am sorry I have to go

eternumpace: but it did promote a chronic thinking patterns that may not have been vary good in the long term

janiepop: can you say hi to sugar for me

eternumpace: will do. you take care there, janie.

janiepop: can we pick this up next time

eternumpace: next time mon amie

eternumpace: i have to get lunch. you have to eat breakfast perhaps

janiepop: and btw the mental health folks liked the depiction of schizophrenia

eternumpace: oh? that 's neat to hear

janiepop: in the movie I mean

janiepop: it's a disorder of belief

eternumpace: another good moviesis SIX DEGREES OF SEPERATION

eternumpace: With Will Smith

eternumpace: that is the movie i was quoting from earlier

janiepop: loved it but waht about THE SIXTH SENSE

janiepop: we must commune again

janiepop: and we will mon ami

eternumpace: liked that, too. that writer/director is cool. shyamalan has a new flick soon about crop circles and starring kevin costner

eternumpace: bye bye

janiepop: have just been to see BANDITS

eternumpace: havn't seen that one

eternumpace: bruce willis and thorton

janiepop: great flick ..Billy Bob Thornton , Bruce Willis and our own Cate Blanchett

janiepop: see it its's fun

eternumpace: she's an aussie, huh.

janiepop: she is

eternumpace: i will rent it here

janiepop: good

eternumpace: is blanchet in Elizabeth?

janiepop: see ya enjoy and take good care of ya niec self

eternumpace: ty. i will try

janiepop: yes she is in Liz

eternumpace: she's grrreat

eternumpace: ok. be off with you, mate
