For my birthday, which was actually about 2 weeks ago now but I keep being good to myself, I rented a movie on myth and anthropology (my two favourite subjects in the whole wide world). Anyway, I learned that, technically, a newborn child is at the top of the food chain, all things considered. I thought that was very interesting. And that the very first person anyone will ever know is Mom. "Todo las madres" they say in Spanish, or the world is full of "many mothers".
