The Raines Administration will respect the 2nd amendment rights of Gun Owners. I believe that gun ownership among responsible adults is a good thing, and will fight for those rights. Criminals can get guns. We don't need to punish the decent, law abiding citizens. I will support short waiting periods and background checks for handguns. However, I will never support waiting periods and background checks for hunting weapons. Concealed carry is an interesting idea, which the Raines administration currently has no stance on. |
