To tell the truth, I'm not as into beetle fighting as my buddy Stanley above, but I think it is a harmless bit of fun every beetle enthusiast has tried at one time or another. If watched carefully, stag beetles should not kill each other when they fight. Occasionally, however, a strong individual may puncture the exoskeleton of a weaker one, causing an injury severe enough for it to die. That's about all I can say about beetle fighting.
