Couple interesting findings from your trip records: I no longer see any occurance of Japanese rhinocerous beetle in Yanmingshen, where they use to appear I can't say in aboundance but qui e common. However I'm surprised to your frequent encountering of them(and many other wonderful species) in WuLai, Taipei. Since Wu-Lai also seem to be at edge of crowded city which is a real threat to all these collectible jewels. Comments: I loved your home page, and also the a similar homepage of Japanese beetles. I am in the fourth grade of elementary school and we are studying insects for our current science project and I am interested in what you showed. I just finished a poster on sc rpions, the only poster in my class not on insects, but my teacher said that would be good for everyone to know that arachnids are not insects. My father said that we sometimes find stag beetles in our backyard. I helped my mother today to kill some bad beetles that were attacking our lilies that only recently came to America and were ne er before found in the US.
