The Blue Glassy Tiger (Ideopsis vulgaris), another dainid species, is common
throughout Peninsular Malaysia. It is usually encountered at the edge of forests or plantations and in the
countryside. It is one of the “milkweed” butterflies believed to be mimicked
by the Common Mime (Chilasa clytia), a papilionid species.
