Comments: You site is very good. I wanted to comment on what you say about the three-fold law and the idea of returned energy. You are right to say that we may hurt another unintentionally. But the Wiccan idea does not make wiccans afraid to do anything for fear of negative reflection - it only reminds them to think out the possible ramifications of what they are doing. It's just like you said: be careful what you wish for, you may get it. If you do hurt someone, even accidentally, you quite often recieve returned n gative energy from the event. Just think of a time when one of your friends misinterpreted something you said and then didn't call you for weeks because of hurt feelings. All you can do is appologize, and try to make up for it. If you keep yourself healt y in body and spirit, and only cast spells with love, you will be able to handle it when things go awry. Comments: Great page!!!! I tend to get a little long-winded on these things... I have been practising as long as I can remember, however I wasn't able identify to myself as a Witch (or Pagan, for those who prefer the term--I've always liked "Practisioner" myself, but it makes me feel like I'm ashamed of who I am) until I was about 1 . Hollywood's classic protrayal of Witches do nothing to help the inaccurate perceptions and stereotyping--it wasn't until I had visited a new-age store and found a book of spells that I realized that my channelling, meditations and beliefs had an origin and a name. I hope this page and others like it can help others out there, and also lay to rest some of the fear and prejudice against Paganism/Witchcraft. I found that many of my practices and beliefs differ quite a bit from those described here (e.g. I [and the most of the other Calgary Witches I've spoken with] believe the Goddess is a symbolic representation of nature, and that other "Gods" are symbolic epresentations of ever-changing energy forces [both in the energy around you {other people, animals, trees, etc.) and related to gravitional forces, which is why the position of the moon, planets and stars is so important]). That's one of the great thing about this faith--anything goes, as long as you remember the credos!!! A movie to recommend not included on this site: Powder (~1995-6). It does not specifically mention Paganism, Witchcraft, or even Chakras, but it demonstrates Chakras very well (it even has the Chakra Points right), and offers a very good theory (which h ppens to be mine, and again, that of many of the other Calgary Witches that I've spoken with) of what happens when you die--I'm not sure that this fits in completely with what is on the link from this address; the theory (which, if I recall correctly, the movie attributes to Einstein) can be described as a form of reincarnation, but it's not quite as cut-and-dry as what was described at this link.

Comments: I agree that there should be tolerance for all religions. However, in your "Letter to Christians", many of the examples you gave were only from Catholicism, not all of Christianity. Most Protestants don't pray to saints. Also, most Protestants don't be ieve that the wine and bread are transformed into the blood and the body, just that they are symbols.
