The Male Pagan Challenge

The challenge for Pagan men is to deny the limits and the privileges of their gender in today's society. Men can be sensitive, nurturing, gentle, loving, and spiritual. They can deny violence, dominance, and destruction. Pagan men step away from the drone mentality that society fosters. They are still Hunter/Warriors/Wage-earners but they are also Lovers, Mystics and Fathers. They are intimates of our deities and they vary widely. They are Pagans of all traditions (all right so maybe no Dianics by definition), Witches, Druids, Asatruians, Celtics, Egyptians, Greeks, Goddess worshippers, pantheists, duotheists, polytheists and others. With such diversity what common ground is there? They are men who have assumed personal responsibility for their own spirituality.

This page is the lead that will address the common issues that arise from our choices. Ethics, new definitions, social responsibilities, sexuality, networking, relationships, and the whole of life will make its way into my ramblings. If you have something that you would like to see discussed please let me know. I may not have the answers but I will always have more questions. It is my hope to celebrate the male diversity as well as their commonalities.
