The Pointed Line-BlueThe Pointed Line-Blue is a small butterfly which is occasionally common in certain locations within the nature reserves and in some areas near the swampy mangrove outcrops.  The males are a deep purple above and unmarked, whilst the females are brown with a hint of bluish-purple at the wing bases.  The underside is a dull greyish-brown with white striae.  There is an orange crowned black eyespot at the tornal area of the hindwing.  The species possesses a fine white-tipped tail.
