| Margaret Elizabeth "Libby" Bezanson was born in Mount Thom on April 10 1914, a daughter of the late Daniel & Margaret (Lynds) Bezanson. She was a former employee of Riverview Home. She became a member of First Presbyterian, New Glasgow, on Oct 5, 1980, and was a member of the Greg reid Auxiliary of the AMS. Libby was deeply devoted to her church and her God. She was also an accomplished quilter and her oatcakes were without equal. She is survived by daughters Helen Patriquin, Halifax: Alma (Freeman) Hiltz, River John, sons: Ernest (Virginia) patriquin, Scotsburn; Gerald (Mary) Patriquin, Burlington, Ontario; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 13 great, great grandchildren, sister, Mary Hiltz, River John. She was predeceased by her first husband Earl Patriquin, her second husband Leonard patriquin in 1991; son, Donald Patriquin, grandson Allan Hiltz; sister Cassie Gregory and Annie Holt; brothers George, William, david, stewart, Jamie and Raymond. For many years libby lived at 260 Terrance St., New Glasgow, and she became a resident of Valley View Villa in January 2004. Libby died on wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, infirmary Site, Halifax at age 92. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to R.H. Funeral Home. |
