Books I Read and
Authors I Like
Nora Roberts
Tabitha King
Danielle Steele
Katherine Stone
Anne Rice
The Happy Hollisters
I have most of her books, if not all, but I do have a few favorites.. The Irish Trilogy starting with Born in Fire, and the other triology starting with SeaSwept.
I started reading Danielle Steeele recently.  I like her books although they usually all end up the same.  A couple of my favorites are Mirror Image and Daddy.
Another great author, Katherine Stone tends to have 4 different characters overlapping in her books, which make them very effective.  A favorite is Home At Last
Anne Rice is tied for first for my favorite author.  Her books about Vampires and Witchcraft are spell-binding and magical (no pun intended). I highly suggest her Vampire Chronicles.
The other author tied for first on my list.  Wife of Stephen King, she doesn't get a lot of recognition, but her stuff is awesome.  She has a set of books set in Maine, with the same characters.  Read them! My favorite is One on One.
The Happy Hollisters is a set of Children's books that I collect.  Old and hard to find, I'm only missing 7 in the collection of 33 titles.  Wonderful books. Read them to your kids.
Some other writers I like:
V.C Andrews
Samual Beckett
Albert Camus
William Shakespeare
Mark Twain
Keats
Shelley
Ferlinghetti
Robert Frost
Catherine Coulter
Carolyn Keene
L.M. Montgomery
Judy Blume
Beverly Cleary
Dr. Seuss
Shel Silverstein
A.A Milne
Roald Dahl
        ... and plenty more
One of the greatest children's authors, Rowling is the author of the famous Harry Potter series.  These are awesome books full of fantasy and magic.  Read them, I love them
J.K. Rowling
Sue Grafton
She writes those alphabet detective mysteries that are really good, with Kinsey Millhone as a Private Investigator.
J.D. Robb
The pen name for Nora Roberts (see above), she writes a futuristic detective series starring Dallas, Lieutenant Eve, as a Homicide cop.  Awesome images and stories, and these books make you feel...
