        4 Cups Flour 1 1/2 Cups Shortening
        1 1/2 Tbsp. Ginger 2 Cups Sugar
        2 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda 2 Eggs
        4 Tsp. Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Molasses
        1 Tsp. Salt

        Mix all. Roll in small balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

        Sugar Cookies

        1 Cup Butter 1 Cup Shortening
        1 Cup Powdered Sugar 1 Cup Sugar
        2 Eggs 4 Cups Flour
        Dash of Salt 1 Tsp. Cream of Tartar
        1 Tsp. Baking Soda 1 Tsp. Vanilla

        Cream butter and shortening, then add everything else. I add one thing at a time and stir after each one. Roll into small balls, roll in cinnamon and sugar then flatten with a glass (the bottom part with the design on it). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

        Boiled Cookies

        2 Cups Sugar 3 Tbs. Cocoa
        ½ Cup Milk ¼ lb. Butter
        ½ Cup Peanut Butter 3 Cups Oatmeal
        1 Tsp. Vanilla *

        Boil first 5 ingredients for 1 ½ minutes then add oatmeal and vanilla. Drop on waxed paper and let cool.
