| 4 Cups Flour | 1 1/2 Cups Shortening |
| 1 1/2 Tbsp. Ginger | 2 Cups Sugar |
| 2 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda | 2 Eggs |
| 4 Tsp. Cinnamon | 1/2 Cup Molasses |
| 1 Tsp. Salt |
Mix all. Roll in small balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

| 1 Cup Butter | 1 Cup Shortening |
| 1 Cup Powdered Sugar | 1 Cup Sugar |
| 2 Eggs | 4 Cups Flour |
| Dash of Salt | 1 Tsp. Cream of Tartar |
| 1 Tsp. Baking Soda | 1 Tsp. Vanilla |
Cream butter and shortening, then add everything else. I add one thing at a time and stir after each one. Roll into small balls, roll in cinnamon and sugar then flatten with a glass (the bottom part with the design on it). Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

| ½ Cup Milk | ¼ lb. Butter |
| ½ Cup Peanut Butter | 3 Cups Oatmeal |
| 1 Tsp. Vanilla | * |
Boil first 5 ingredients for 1 ½ minutes then add oatmeal and vanilla. Drop on waxed paper and let cool.
