Here is the resolution # 3 of the 5th meeting of the Organizing Committee, which was held on January 16, 2001.

 

Resolution 3:

 

The committee requests the University administration to allocate, on an urgent basis, a suitable site spanning at least 3 (three) acres of land for the proposed Alumni Complex. The decision is taken to prepare a Master Plan of the complex comprising of the following units: 

 

 

(i)

Conference Room (Gallery) with modern sound and projection system for at least 300 persons.

(ii)

Generator Room for housing a backup power generator.

(iii)

Meeting Room/small Seminar Room for at least 50 persons.

(iv)

4 (four) Office Rooms, each of 450 sq.ft.

(v)

Reception Room

(vi)

Gallery/Museum

(vii)

Bank

(viii)

Multimedia Room

(ix)

Multi-dimensional Mall to house (a) Cafeteria, (b) Book Stall, (c) Travel Agent, (d) IT shop, (e) Stationery shop etc.

(x)

Community Hall

(xi)

Guest House with space for 20 rooms.

(xii)

Parking area.
