| Educational Background and Expertise |
I have PhD in Food Engineering from Biological Systems Engineering Department, at Washington State University, Pullman, WA-99163, USA. I did M. Tech in Dairy and Food Engineering from INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KHARAGPUR, INDIA and B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering, from College of Agricultural Engineering, Pusa. My expertise includes application of Computer Vision, Image processing, Machine vision Artificial Neural Network, Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to study the heat and mass transfer phenomena, involved with sterilization and others processes in foods. My PhD research work is application of computer vision for process control in food industry. M.Tech research thesis was on application of Finite Element Analysis of Microwave Heating of Solid Foods, and B.Tech thesis on the Development of an Expert Systems for Evaluation of Various Infiltraon Models.
