Products within a category can be adjusted according to taste. As this calculator does not include fruits and vegetables, some vitamins (such as vitamin A) may be lacking. Make sure and supplement this diet with a daily vitamin supplement

For baking, you will need 1/2 lb of dry yeast per person/year; 1 lb of baking soda per person/year; and 1 lb of baking powder per person/year.

As each family uses varying amounts of different items, you can vary the amounts as needed. Also, adding canned goods (fruits, vegetables, meats, etc) can affect the requirements in some of the dry goods' areas.
