As Jobs Vanish and Prices Rise, Food Stamp Use
Nears Record
One of the biggest problems families are facing is that they
don't know how to cook properly. People make very little from
scratch.
Trust me on this one. Making great meals from scratch is a lot
earier than you think and it is a lot cheaper than processsed
foods.
Get a cookbook and learn to do it right. |
..to be judged by the content of your heart.
Not by the color of your skin.
It's this kind of garbage that the NWO just loves. No unity.
No common front. Just division. Without an organized and unified
unit working for a COMMON idea, there can be no victory. It doesn't
matter what your political ideology is. There must be a orchestrated
effort. In this case, it comes down to which group of Jesse Jackson
clones which are clamoring for the handouts has the most organized
effort.
Ever notice how the bankers have unity? The corporate interests?
How about the AFL/CIO union? This is why the political candidates
cater to these groups. They have a unified front and control
large blocks of voters. Even union members which are not AFL/CIO
but work in companies that have dealings with the AFL/CIO will
stand in solidarity with the AFL/CIO.
If groups of 20 individuals unite for a common goal, they
would see how much power they would have if their efforts were
coordinated. As it is now, Americans are just a bunch of whinney
little children who will settle for a little candy and instead
of thinking in terms of group dynamics tend to think only of
what they can get for themselves.
As an end result, the NWO wins by default. |

Katrina victims may have to pay back aid
NEW ORLEANS Imagine that your home
was reduced to mold-covered wood framing by Hurricane Katrina.
Desperate for money to rebuild, you engage in a frustrating bureaucratic
process, and after months of living in a government provided-trailer
that gives off formaldehyde fumes you finally win a federal grant.
Then a collector announces that you have to pay back thousands
of dollars.

U.S. teens stumped by history survey
This is not by accident. It is by design. Of course, the students
themselves must bear much of the responsibility. If they had
botherd to read books on their own instead of playing X-Box or
Wii, they would know more about history than they do now. |
Big Plans Are Slow to Bear Fruit in New Orleans
This really frosts my cookies. New Orleans is the perfect
oportunity to build a city of the future implementing the latest
and most advanced designs and architectural methods. Not to mention
building it around a very well designed mass transportaion system.
Instead, New Orleans is plagued by red tape and corruption.
Unlike many cities in America, New Orleans is culturally unique
and to see it wither away because of our current domestic policies
which tolerate cronyism and corruption, we very well may see
a good city die. |

One of the best things you can look for in
your area is a food bank. Do a Yahoo search and type in "Food
Bank" and the name of your town or city in which you live.
When you go, be sure to talk to the other people waiting in line.
They most likely know where there are other food banks and can
tell you where they are.
In my area, the illegal aliens from Mexico and the immigrant
Russians swarm the food banks. |
A
list of "supplies" one may need in the upcoming
civil war?
I have to admit the guy made a really big list and tried to
cover every contigency but......
If you have to flee on foot, how much of that crap are you going
to take with you?
As a homeless vet, I made it a point to only carry absolutely
essential supplies in my backpack and learn to do without. See the sample chapter
of my book |
A lot of families would be better off if they did this and pooled their resources.
Each contributing in some way to lessen the burden for the whole.
Then again you have to be able to tolerate you parents or your
kids. |

Where Did My Homeless Guy Go?
Interesting blog |
Study:
744,000 homeless people in U.S. (Jan 10th, 2007)
Compare this to the MSNBC article in saying
there are just 744,000 in America
The problem is, there is no way to accurately count the number
of homeless.
You probably have seen that commercial where the man is standing
in the middle of a shanty town with a pretty little girl saying
how hard she has it. America is going to look like that in a
couple of years. Shanty towns where once "prosperous' Americans
will be living in tent, tarpaper shacks and dilapidated rv's.
Like this one in a once prosperous suburb.
An example of bad sanitation in a "colonia"
or Mexican shanty town in the United States
I keep saying it but people just don't listen. Get prepared
now! |
Police use force to clear out Shanty Town
(Madrid, Spain). We can expect this in America in the future. |
PBS report on homelessness
From personal experience I can say that the biggest problem
with the homeless is themselves.
- They like being homeless
- Many begin using drugs or become addicted to alcohol which
only complicates their problems
- They lose hope of getting off the streets
- They just don't care about themselves anymore
I have seen some get jobs and get an apartment then go right
back to being on the street.
Others get off the street and stay off.
There are a few who really like the life on the street because
they have no real responsibilities anymore. |
Experiment in bum bashing
ABC News does an experiment in bum bashing to study people's
reactions. Considering that a FULL QUARTER of the homeless in America military
veterans, this is the treatment we get for preserving
YOUR way of life. GO FUCK YOURSELF!
Soon enough you will find yourselves in our position and you
can feel the scorn and derision that you
inflicted on us. Humble pie always leaves a bad taste in your
mouth. I know because I have eaten more than I care to admit. |

Cities set limits on serving food to homeless
people
Just another way of saying they don't care. I am concerned
about the reinstatement of soup kitchens.
In the first great depression, soup kitchens kept a lot of people
from starving to death. With the regulations
and enforcement codes, the availability of soup kitchens may
not be as prevalent. If America erupts in
Civil War Two, there may not be any soup kitchens at all. |
Volunteers gear up for annual homeless count
There is no way to accurately count the homeless. |
Going into survival mode
This poor individual THINKS she is going into survival mode.
People who are stockpiling a few extra supplies really need to
re-think their strategy. I promote in my book how to survive
the collapse. The big question every self-proclaimed "survivalist"
doesn't answer is what to do if you lose your shelter? That Suburban
isn't useful in that situation. If you have your mortgage foreclosed,
are you going to be able take all your "supplies" with
you? Will you be prepared to do without shelter for extended
periods of time. Read
the sample chapter from my book. |
Cold Snap Hits The Streets Hard
A cold weather sleeping bag will do wonders. As for buying
one? I know of a meth addict that rides around town on a bicycle
collecting soda pop cans for the nickel deposit. He actually
gets enough money to supply his meth habbit. If you find yourself
in this situation, don't sit on your ass like the typical American.

Criminalizing homelessness
I watched an episode of Futurama in which Fry and Bender were
implicated in a bank robbery. When the two got the insanity plea,
the judge was informed that all the mental instutions were full
when the judge declared being poor was a mental illness.
Being poor is a crime. Being homeless is a crime.

A
different kind of sad Vet story
Vets cant get a break. They come
home from Iraq, and we stick them in sub-par medical facilities.
Then, we ignore their emotional needs. And sometimes, rarely
but occasionally, they go crazy.
Our government believes that once our veterans are no longer
useful, they are useless. Fuck them! |
The Astute Blogger: Neglecting our Veterans.
When Congress and the White House put together
the $150 billion economic stimulus package, they raised the maximum
mortgage limits in high-cost areas for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac
and the Federal Housing Administration.
But lawmakers neglected to include a similar increase for the
government's primary home purchase program for veterans: Department
of Veterans Affairs-backed loans.
