| For the 2001 The Ramsey High School Big Blue Marching Band will present "Songs from a Planet Earth".The production is made up of three movements.The first movement is entitled Appalachian Morning,which starts out as a beautiful melodic passage and quickly turns into a very driving piece of music.The Rainforest is the title of movement two.This ballad captures all the beauty and peacefulness found in that ever so fragile enviroment.In movement three Journey Under the Sun the music explores many complex rhythms,timbers and genres,and ends with a very powerful musical statment which will be hard to forget once it is heard. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
