One of the great payoffs of NMUN: Doing business on the floor of the General Assembly Grand Hall. The Conference finishes with Closing Ceremonies held in the very same hall. To the left: Osama, Suhail and David await Closing Ceremonies. Pictured below: Denise and Sebastian, who managed to grab a seat right behind the Maldives plaquard!
Sometimes the wait for Closing Ceremonies can be a bit rough. It always helps to have your own comedian on hand. (You all know who I'm talking about.) At the left are UIC NMUN 2004 Delegates awaiting the reopening of the Grand Hall for Closing Ceremonies. Pictured from left to right are: Rebecca, Leon, Dan, Liz, Katie Anne, Josue and Yang.
After each day of the Conference we meet to discuss the day's occurrences. Pictured to the left at one of our nightly meetings are: Dan, Suhail and Diann. And, on the right Shamaila.

We do have some fun while we're in New York. While we spend most of our waking hours in committee sessions, we always manage to squeeze in some sight-seeing. Often we break into groups and see one another as we "tourist" about Manhattan. On the left: that's me in Grand Central Station. I caught up with Chris and Robbie (below-left) as they were coming back from some shopping. And I happend to be at the other end of the Island as a group with Monica was trying to find their next destination.
Of course, no page on NMUN 2004 would be complete without a picture of Rajean. She offered not only moral support, but also helpful input on committee proceedings during the nightly meetings. She deserves the credit for all of these pictures. Thank you!
