EPISODE #14: Identity Crisis Originally Aired: 5/04/02
Summary: The rangers morale is low after losing their zords, but hey still try to figure out how to stop Zen-Aku. Zen-Aku begins to have more flashbacks, until he is greated by a dog he does not remember seeing, but recognizes, causing more flashbacks. The rangers are on their way to get their crystals when Jindrax and Toxica show up. Zen-Aku arrives in the middle of the battle and stops the two duke orgs, wanting the rangers for himself. All of them fight and Cole able to knock Zen-Aku down and tries to blast him, but the dog from before runs by Zen-Aku. The dog gets blasted, by accident, by Toxica who is then beat up by Zen-Aku. Zen-Aku takes the dog away to heal it, ending the battle. Back on the Animarium, Cole tells them that the dog is half wolf and he saw it bathing with a guy in the river. Later that night The rangers and Zen-Aku fight, using their zords and Zen-Aku using the bear zords. The battle is ended when a figure appears in the sky telling Zen-Aku to remember. The princess says the figures name is Animus when the rangers ask about it after the battle. In the morning, Jindrax and Toxica recruite Lawnmower org at a soccer stadium. The rangers fight the org, but the org is destroyed by Zen-Aku who promptly leaves, amazed he destroyed one of his own kind. Back on Animarium, the rangers decide that Zen-Aku is human and go after him. They fight and Animus shows again. Zen-Aku leaves, confused and the princess comes to the realization Zen-Aku is Merrick the 6th ranger.
