EPISODE #29: The Flute Originally Aired: 9/21/02
Summary: Cole is walking throught the city when he finds a group of pigeons. He asks one pigeon if he has seen Kite. The pigeon had but not recently. Danny and Max then arrive stating that they their search for Kite was unsecessful as well. Meanwhile on the top of a building, Jindrax, Toxica, and some putrids are serving Mandilok some lunch when they are interrupted by some music. The music is Marrick and the princess playing to the Deer on the Animarium. Elsewhere, Kite hears the music stating that it sounds familar. Meanwhile an org spirit finds it way into a music store and becomes Flute org. The org the music and does not like it, so it begins to play its own bad version of music. Back on the Animarium, Merrick and Shayla are interrupted by the bad flute playing. The princess believes it to be Merrick ruining the song because he does not want to be with her or the rangers. They fight and she runs off after saying she does not want to see him again. Their fighting causes the deer zord to run away. MAndilok much perfers the orgs music over the princess's and Merrick's. Back on the Animarium, Alyssa runs into the princess who is still upset about Merrick. Elsewhere, the org is playing his flute making the kids at a park begin to dance. The rangers arrive (all of them) and stop the org. Merrick recognizes the bad flute playing from before. Jindrax and Toxica save the org and take it to the nexus to meet Mandilok. Mandilok uses Jindrax and Toxicas power to make the org more pwerful, and able to make adults and the rangers dance. Cole is walking through town and realizes he is followed by Kite. He buys Kite some ice cream. Kite tells Cole he knows he is a ranger. Cole just laughs and takes him somewhere to eat the ice cream. Back on the Animarium the rangers tell the princess about the org and the princess realizes it was the org making the bad music. Elsewhere, Cole and the other rangers (unmorphed) appear at the next location of the org and begin to dance under the orgs power. Back at the Animarium, Merrick arrives and tells the princess he is sorry for not visiting her more and he does like playing the flute with her. They quickly make up and go to help the rangers. Merrick and the princess arrive on the scene and play their flute, stopping the org. The deer soon returns.The princess says the deer returned because they sang, but Merrick.says it was his flute the deer liked. Ahe playfully shoves him causing him to fall off the bridge. He morphs on the way down and is ok. The rangers quickly and they use the deer and the IsisMegazord and Predazord and fight the org. They fight an intense battle which includes Kite running off, and the Animus zords to appear (for real) and Animus appear soon after, and finally destroy the org. After the battle, Animus leaves without answering questions and Cole runs back to find Kite but he is gone.
