EPISODE #36: The Master's Herald Pt. 2 Originally Aired: 10/19/02
Summary: Jindrax is alnoe and upset about the loss of Toxica. On the Animarium, the rangers are upset and conserned about the princess. An image of Onikage appears above the fountain and tells the rangers where ti go to get the princess back. The rangers (including Merrick) go there and Onikage creates the shadow rangers out of the real ranger's shadows. All of the rangers fight (blue vs. blue, yellow vs. yellow, etc.). The rangers are losing when Master org appears (real eye and real horn) near Onikage, Mandilok, Jindrax, and Toxica (who were watching the battle). Onikage goes to his real master, Master org, and gives him Mandilok's staff (which he was holding for Mandilok). Onikage also reveals that it was all a set up. He never really worked for Mandilok and he destroyed Toxica for Master org, as per his order. Master org make quick work of destroying Mandilok. Onikage goes to destroy Jindrax, so Jindrax takes the princess and runs. The real rangers also retreat, having not defeated the shadow rangers. Jindrax takes the princess to a forest and begins to hear the master's voice stating that he will forgive Jindrax if he brings the princess back. Master org sends Onikage after Jindrax and the princess. When the princess thanks Jindrax for saving her, he tells her that he did not save her, she is his bargaining tool. The princess begins to make Jindrax doubt his life as an org after she sees that he has a mirror and Toxica's horn. The rangers are busy nursing their wounds by a stream, worring about the princess, when Master org appears with the shadow rangers. The real rangers quickly morph, but are hurt whenever they attack their coordinated ranger. Master org tells them that the fake rangers are their shadows and what ever happens to the shadow rangers, happens to them as well. Onikage meets up with Jindrax and the princess in the forest. Jindrax tells him that he was returning the princess to the master, but Onikage says they need only the princess not Jindrax. They fight, but Onikage leaves Jindrax severly hurt on the ground and takes the princess to Master org. The real rangers are losing the fight when Onikage appears with Princess Shayla. Jindrax appears and says he is fed up with being an org. He makes a speech about how master org has no heart and is truly evil. Onikage blasts Jindrax to create a shadow Jindrax, but Jindrax deflects the blast with his mirror, causing the blast to hit Onikage himself, and create a shadow Onikage which attacks the real one. Cole destroys the shadow Onikage, destroying the real one and returning the shadow rangers back to the rangers (basiclly destoying them, without really destroying them) in the process. Master org makes Onikage grow with some beans and leaves with Princess Shayla. The grown Onikage takes the rangers into a spirit world filled with the spirits of giant orgs. Master org places Princess Shayla into a cell in the nexus. Back in the spirit world the rangers are unable to cal their zords. In her cell, the princess's necklace lets off a ball of light which goes to the Animarium and cause the lion to grow. The lion forms the new Pegasus Megazord and takes off into the spirit world. In the spirit world, the pegasus megazord makes quick work of the org spirits, then finally destroying Onikage for good and releasing the rangers from the spirit world. Princess Shayla hears of their success through her necklace, while Master org looks at her cell. While at a stream the rangers talk about getting the princess back.
