EPISODE #4: Never Give Up! Originally Aired: 2/23/02
Summary: Max is reading a magazine while walking with Danny through Turtle Cove. The magazine says that a Turtle Cove Temple is haunted. He decides it is an org and he and Danny not to check it out. Danny then notices a girl, Kendel, that used to work with and really likes across the street. As she begins to drop the flowers she is holding, Danny preforms some acrobatic moves and is able to catch them for her. She recoginizes Danny as the flower-catcher and they begin to talk, leaving Max upset that he has to investigate on his own. Max goes to the temple at night and is scared to death when a light in the temple turns on. He falls down the ramp to the house and runs away as an Asian man comes out. The next day, Danny is still lovestruck from Kendel until he sees a bruise on Max's head and reilizes that he forgot to help him investigate, he tries to help that makes Max even more mad. Elsewhere, Jindrax and Toxica send the new org, Bell org to cause trouble at the temple. Max is walking towards the temple when his phone rings. It is Danny, so he does not answer. Bell org and some putrids take this opprotunity to attack him, encasing him in a bell. The fountain on Animarium, tells the rangers that Max was right, so they take off to help him. Along the way Danny tells Cole how Max saved his life, and how Max is his best friend. Danny (morphed) is able to free Max from the bell and gives Max his morpher. Together the five are able to defeat the org. Danny is seen later trying to tell Kendel how he feels, but is too shy. After he leaves, Kendel finds the note Danny wrote his feelings on and finds out how he feels. She smiles after reading it.
