| This is to all the people that think Angurius was killed in Godzilla Raids Again and Angurius doesn't have regenerative properties. Seeing as GRA is my favorite Godzilla movie I have watched literally hundreds of times even various parts in slow motion. Everyone always thinks Angurius is always dead at the end because Godzilla bites his neck, throws him over, and then torches him. I personally think when Godzilla bit Angurius' neck, he healed pretty fast. When Godzilla pushed him over the cliff Angurius was still moving, only slightly stunned. Godzilla torches Angurius and he is never seen again in the film. Granted that does let people assume he's dead but assume? Anyway, Angurius took a blast point blank to the face where he has soft skin, mucal membranes, eyes, ears, etc, and he was virtually unharmed. Then after he falls off the cliff and he is regaining his wits he gets blasted again by Godzilla's breath which is weaker because it is from a distance meaning the it has a loss of energy and his shell catches on fire. His shell is the thickest toughest part of his body. I highly doubt that G's breath is tronger at a distance then at point blank range and can hit a more protected part of the body and do more damage. My guess is that Angurius' shell was covered in chitin or stuff similar to your fingernails. This could of caught on fire. Now while Angurius was on fire he was as mentioned above, still moving around. Where did Angurius get caught on fire? Next to the ocean, how hard is it for him to roll over in the water or something of that nature? The third peice of evidence is that the reporters never say Angurius was killed, they only say he was defeated. Again, that makes us assume that he is dead. That is my argument for how he survived in GRA. Now here is my argument for how he has regenerative powers. In DAM he proceeds to bite King Ghidorah on the neck and is lifted in the air. Next, KG bites him on the neck and he falls to the ground. KG starts to jump up and down on him and we can see Angurius is taking alot of damage. Later in the film he appears to be as good as new and is virtually unharmed. My other argument is in Godzilla vs. Gigan Angurius clearly runs into Gigan's buzzsaw and we clearly see blood flying around indicating that Angurius was wounded. When Angurius backs away, where is the blood? It has disapeared and there is no wound. Also, they use stock footage of him fighting KG in DAM. In it he recieves the same amount of damage as he did in DAM and is still healthy as an ox again. in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla Angurius has aged alot. He has lost his fangs and apparently developed a slight case of Glaucoma as his eyes are slightly gazed. When Mechagodzilla tries to rip his jaw off we see alot of bright red blood but when he backs up, he isn't bleeding anymore and the blood on him is starting to dry up. If your jaw was partially ripped off wouldn't you be squirting alot more blood continuously? This is why I believe Angurius has good regenerative abilities. Almost as good as Godzilla. Heck, the Big G lost a little blood in Godzilla vs. Gigan and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla too right? But yet he still has regenerative powers. |
