| Story |
| A Japanese crew is sailing on the ocean when, all of a sudden, a giant monster attacks. It kills all the passengers expect one. Who he say's is Godzilla. Godzilla appears in Manhatten and destroys it. The military tries to find out who or what this creature is. Godzilla returns but the military is ready. Godzilla destroys the tanks and helicopters and climbs up a building and roars. A long time passes before Godzilla shows up again. He battles the military once more but he is hurt badly. A team finds the nest of Godzilla and destroys it. Godzilla revives and chases them until he is caught in wires and is killed by f-18 fighter planes. Somehow though an egg surives. |

| There is plans for a release of a sequal to Godzilla titled Godzilla 2!!! Most likely Godzilla will have an enemy to attack!!! |

| In the Toho/Tristar contract or something, it said that Tristar may make 3 Godzilla movies. So expect two more that hopefully look like the real Godzilla! |
| My Opinion |
| Godzilla 98' is a great movie with special effects no Godzilla movie has come close to. The military is cool and Godzilla's movement looks more realistic. But the look, feeling, and attitude of this Godzilla is not like the Japanese Godzilla which we all know and love. This Godzilla not only looks nothing like Godzilla, it doesn't blow fire!!! Thats what got me furious! Thats my favorite power in a Godzilla movie! But besides that, it's a ehh... movie. I thought this when I watched it and I don't know about anybody else but, it really shows that Godzilla is King of the Monsters. He is the fastest creature on earth and also the strongest! |
