Hey people we had a half day of school today, so i decided that i would tell you all about it. (in other words, i'm bored out of my WIT.) So, as you probably know, my school goes to meeting every friday morning. What this is is it is a time for the whole school to "be together." We (kindergarten - 8th grade) all walk over to the meeting house on New Garden Road (near guilford college) and we sit there in silence. Now, since there are little kids, the silence is only about 20 minutes long. BUT when it's just older kids (sometimes they split us up) it CAN get to be as long as one hours silence at one time. Still, like i said, that's not that much. After silence, the whole school sings. We've all been singing these songs since kindergarten, so it's really no big deal. Most people just sit there and sing monotone until the teachers yell at them, and then we sing louder, but STILL monotone. (i hope that made sense.) NOW, after meeting, we have Community Service. This is where they combine a bunch of kids from different age groups and we go out places in the "community" and "help them." I, (my group) help the people at the meeting house clean up. BUT TODAY...well, it was a little different. As i sit here, typing this to you, i have like, should we say, TEN TONS of make-up on my face. Now, it's not the normal stuff you see people wear every day, it's different. It is the make-up that is worn in China (at least, i think it's China) to portray characters in their Theater. I have bright pink eye stuff surrounding my eyes, and i have foundation under that. there is powder all over it, and they used a charcol like substance, (after the made it really cold and wet) to draw VERY thick lines around my eyes. Sort of like a thick thick thick eyeliner. Then, they color your lips with a sort of thick paint, and they turn them cherry red. The stuff they put on your lips can go through just about anything, and not come off. I know this because i just ate lunch, and none of it came off imbetween me drinking from a straw, AND eating a sandwitch. (how do you SPELL that word??) Now, let me tell you WHY i got to do this. (by the way, it took them an hour to do my face.) The Drama Club for the 7th and 8th grade got to go over to guilford college to do this because the students needed some practice. Now, i don't act, but, idk...i guess you could call me the...umm...behind the scenes manager. At least, that's what i hope to be. The other people who go this done were...(forgive me if i forget to mention you. tell me if i've forgotten anybody. i will add them if i have forgotten them.) the people were... Kelsey, Hannah, Merryn, Bette, Carrie, Thalia, Rose, Cheynne (how do you spell your name??), Emily, Anne, Roger, and Jeff. That's all i have done today. I have a picture of me with this make-up on, and we (the group of us) are getting a picture of us on the stairs with it on, developed. So, as soon as i get those, i will put them on the site. Maybe. If you know me, just ask me and i will probably show you the pictures. They are actually really funny. :)!! TTYL people. make sure you check out the rest of the site. :)!! Sign the guestbook, if you will. comment on what you like and what you don't like. please. :)!! *~*GEMINI*~*

This is what my eyes "look like" but i had a sophmore in college (a guy) doing my eyes, so they are (hehe) slightly different, but you get the general idea. Plus ,my nose is sort of messed up cause there's too much foundation on it. It's sorta pink, but that's OK now isn't it?? :)!!
