Where was God?
“Where was God? Why didn’t he stop it?”
Well, with Sep.11, 2001, I know exactly where God was.
But why didn’t he stop it?
You see, God has given mankind a special gift, free will.
But with the good comes the bad and many use this free will to do evil
It has been like this for all of history.
God will not stop our free will though.
He gave it to us to do with as we pleased.
That is why he doesn’t stop evil.
But he likes to go around it and help us out.
Cushion the blow so to speak.
That is where we get miracles.
He couldn’t save them all because of the free will act but
he helped out the people who were able to escape from the WTC tower,
and the ones that were saved after a day of being buried.
What about the people who were late to work, called in sick
or just got that idea to take a different route and missed it.
And the ones who were saved because the plane went down in Pa.
(who gave them the strength to fight the hijackers?)
and who knows if it really was suppose to go into the Pentagon?
And lastly how much worse was it suppose to be
but they got the great idea to ground all the planes
so no more were able to complete their insane mission?
What is done we can see but what has been avoided
is sometimes the unseen miracle.
And only God makes miracles.
So don’t anyone say God wasn’t there.
Just watch the news.
Who knows how this will end.
Perhaps the world will rage a war on terrorists
and end all their dealings all over the earth.
But whatever may come, I am certain God will be there to cushion the blows
if we keep praying and asking for his mercy and guidance.
But instead created courage, heroism and a unity of the world
greater then history has ever known.
Out of the ashes rises the great Eagle!
