The soft sound of bare feet against the hardness of concrete alerted the well dressed gentleman of the woman's fast approach. Chalky glistening wings folded onto his back, only to begin seeping into pale flesh and white clothing until not a feather was traced. The young woman ran from him, his brother Ramedus. How he knew for certain was purely easy. His twin's aura wrapped itself cleanly around the unaware girl trying in vain to escape the vampire's bite. Silly chit, did she not know that danger lurked infront of her? Pale hands move up towards his handsomely aristocratic face to remove the pale blue lock of his hair away from azure eyes. Tailored in the best of cloths, his snowy white blouse was made from the finest silk as with his canary vest. Both hidden beneath the clean, wrinkle free white overcoat with navy blue outline down the front. Immaculate white trousers adorn his legs without a crease marring the look of perfection about him. Awaiting patiently for the woman to run his way, to capture her so that his brother's hunger shall be feed to sustain him. Right on cue the woman was, smacking right into the front of him with a startled peep. Instantly strong arms wrap themselves around her shaking shoulders offering false assurance. Liquid doe colored eyes peered up to her savior, pleading for his protecting. "Please sir, a vampire is after me." And that was when she noticed the same features the one she ran from had with this man holding her. The look of pure terror brought a sardonic smirk on masculine lips, whispered words from the cool uncaring voice of this arch angel who was tainted with blood of another. "I am not like my brother and bring you damnation, but neither am I here to bring you salvation." Now to await his vampiric brother, just he and this sweet little morsel he kept tabs on for Ramedus's blood hunger.
Twins born from  two different worlds. One having to leave for the woman who birthed them knew not how to raise a son with vampiric urges for her lover Moriath of the same blood hunger fate was murdered at the stained hands of the slayers. Still  Aelvina knew next to nothing for her silvery lilac haired son with eyes of the purest gold, how to raise him, how to fully care as a mother should. So she set out to find suitable parents to nourish this son's special needs.
Ramedus was given to foster parents to raise for another factor arose to haunt Aelvina. What if both boys grew up to despise one another? What if one wished to kill the other for the blood differences? That was why she told the people who took Ramedus to think up a story of what happen to his rightful birth parents.
Never once did Remus find out that he had a double, always something felt missing like something beckoned him away. Still he stayed near his mother, learning how to fit in within themortals they were forced to live. Hiding his arch angel heritage from the world itself without knowing that his twin was out there someplace learning to survive, thinking his parents dead along with a twin brother.
Over the coarse of years and centuries the two were separated. Aelvina long gone to another realm by the sweetness of death. Now following the urges that overwhelmed him to find that other piece of him.
