| A search for lost friends and relatives of Ron & Hazel Ashton 1932- to now! |

| This is a light hearted attempt by a pair of grandparents to come to terms with modern technology and at the same time perhaps learn the whereabouts of some relatives and renew acquaintance with some friends from times long past. Pure self- indulgence! Talking about it recently, we discovered that although in the main we have `kept up` with friends from the 70s onwards, prior to that we had lost touch on a massive scale and we had very few photographs by way of remembrance. We were also surprised to discover how little we knew about our parents and their parents. I`m sure many of our contemporaries have the occasional `surf``and maybe, with a little good luck, will pick up a reference to this site. Maybe their children (or grandchildren) will recognise a name or place and will make the connection. Perhaps we will soon be able to share some tales and revive some memories- perhaps even arrange some sort of re-union. ( Hazel and I are due to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary on June 13 2003). Whatever- if you make a connection, please respond. We will be delighted to hear from you! |
