The Holy Bible

So how do you get to know Jesus and his Will for your life? That's easy! There's a book out there which is made JUST for that purpose; it's called the bible. This ancient book has been translated into more languages than any other, and has been read my more people than any other.         The bible is like God's letter to you. In it is He tells you who you are, shows you how much he loves you, and lets you know just how you should live if you have given your life to Jesus. There are are so many things in the bible that it's amazing. Every word is full of wisdom.         Sometimes people don't understand the bible, and it causes them to lose faith. They may take things literally that are not really meant to be taken literally, or they might interpret things wrongly. That's why when I read the bible, I ask the Holy Spirit (The Spirit of God that was poured out during Pentecost) to guide me and help me to understand what the Word of God really means and to apply it to my life.

Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."                                                -Matthew 7: 21

Jesus said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water (from the well) will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."                                             -John 4: 13-14
