WHAT IS DISCIPLINE?
"Sir, discipline is the state of order or obedience, derived from training that makes punishment unnecessary, sir."
"I
shall be telling this
with a sigh
Somewhere ages
and ages hence:
Two roads diverged
in a wood, and I --
I took the one
less traveled by,
And that has made
all the difference." -- Robert Frost

Background In Academics
I
was born in Bangkok, Thailand in January 7, 1981. I moved to California
(Glendale, Pasadena, around the Los Angeles area) when I was about 9
years old (1989). I attended Glendale Adventist Academy during my
young years, before moving back to Bangkok, Thailand in 1993. I graduated
from high school in 1999 from Ekamai International School, second place
but first honors among over 60 classmates.
I
moved to Riverside, California in 1999. I attended La
Sierra University for 2 years, majoring in Computer Science and minoring
in Mathematics. I
transferred to The Citadel (The Military
College of South Carolina) in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2001.
I graduated from The Citadel in May of 2003
in the top 5% of the graduating class, magna cum laude, and with
deparmental honors, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
While at The
Citadel, I received Gold Stars Awards (GPA of 3.70+ per semester), Dean's
List Awards (GPA of 3.20+ per semester), and became a member of The
National Honor Society of Phi Kappa
Phi (member selected based on grades, top 7% of graduating senior class)
of The Chapter at The Citadel.
After
getting my B.S. from The Citadel, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend
Georgia
State University. At Georgia State University, I became a member
of The National Honor Society for International Scholars, Phi
Beta Delta, of The Chapter of Alpha Lambda at Georgia State University.
I am currently
a graduate student in the Department of Computer
Science at Georgia State University, under their Master of Science
(M. S.) program. Fortunately right
now, I am receiving assistantship for my education. After getting
my M. S. I plan to join the Army, working in the computer or the military
intelligence
field.

Graduate Thesis Information
My
area of interest is in Computer Graphics. With a mixture of my dedication
to the army, my thesis is on creating a visual terrain field, using both
2D
and 3D, in hope that this may be of good use to any branch of the military.
