First Floor Bathroom - Before and During
We knew we wanted a new shower, so we began with that.  What we found was some black mold, leading us to rip out and replace all of the drywall in the room.
In the corner, evidence of mold is showing through. The blinds and toilet need to be updated.
Old capped shower and bathtub with heavy sliding glass doors. Vanity and medicine chest.  You can see some of the damaged drywall here.
The cabinet on the right was never really utilized much, so we've opted to remove it. This is what the back of the shower and bathroom looked like when we started.  The wall was never really finished
The old shower was wedged in pretty tightly, forcing Drew and Jon to literally cut it out of the bathroom.  While the space was open, the moldy drywall was also ripped out.
