Master Bedroom - Before and During

This is the first room to begin the transformation. We've taken a cold, mint green room and made it warm and inviting, with complementing colors. This room had also held a large bedroom set, which we've relocated to the spare bedroom.

Some of the furniture had to be shifted around early on, but we've managed to find new homes for it since then.

Jon even got involved in removing the painters' tape from the walls. Notice the accordion-style door leading to the hall.

Derek enjoyed helping with the painting, which he didn't think I'd let him do.

But still smiling....

Derek also enjoyed supervising.

The bedroom wasn't the only thing that needed a fresh coat of paint.  The master bedroom closet was also treated.

This old lamp belonging to Jon's mom made the perfect addition to our closet.
