Stairs & Upstairs Hall

These stairs were carpeted for many years, but like the rest of the house, we want to show off the wonderful hardwood floors.  Plans for the stairs currently include refinishing and installation of carpet runners for both sections of the flight, met in the middle by an area rug, represented here by a UW rug.

Top: Upstairs hallway stripped and sanded. Bottom: Upstairs hallway after 5 coats of polyurethane. The entire hallway has not be sealed yet since the 4th bedroom has not yet been stripped and sanded. The rest of the hallway will be sealed at the same time as the 4th bedroom.
