Haunted Night

Raymond's Stories
At midnight
The time is right
For the creatures of the night
To do their ghastly deeds.

The werewolves creep while people sleep
And tear the throats of the farmers' sheep
Or a human as a special treat
And the dying victim bleeds.

The vampire with lips so red,
Missing link 'twixt living and dead,
To keep alive it must be fed
So on human blood it feeds.

At night the devil walks the land,
Leaves cloven footprints on the sand
In town and country, with his hand,
Of hate he sows the seeds.

Witches, ghouls and ghosts and gnomes
Torture people in their homes,
Kill them slowly, break their bones.
At night, such ghastly deeds!
