Issues of free speech: Is it all right to publish hate and libelous speeches against Islamic fundamentalist and disseminate these over the internet?
(1) Ethical Relativism The person who publishes libelous speeches in ethical relativism is allowed. It is morally good in a sense that the determination is relative to him. And also, it is considered morally good to Islamic Fundamentalism to kill the person since by content, it is morally good to Islamic Fundamentalist to kill or die for a cause.
(2) Ethical Absolutism The person who defames is not allowed to publish the libelous speech or even an attempt or anything against the absolute ethical standard that is universal in nature. That is how rigid and transparent is the Ethical Absolutism.
(3) Ethical Egoism and Ethical Altruism If the person who defames views the purpose abolishing the Islamic Fundamentalist as a cause to some terrorism like suicide bombing can be considered morally good and considered motivated by object of desire.
(4) John Stuart Mill's Utilitarianism It is morally good to the person who defames against the Islamic Fundamentalist if the person's motive is altruistic in a sense that teaching can cause to terrorism like suicide bombing lead to presence of pain and unhappiness.
With the person's perspective of consequences blames that if the teaching does not exist then Muslims are not convinced to kill themselves and declare heuristic act but committing a sin.
(5) Immanuel Kant's Categorical Imperative It is morally bad to the person who defames the Islamic Fundamentalist in Great Britain where the universal law or the 'good will' is declared. The person doing unethical in a sense of disobeying his duty to follow the 'good will'.
(6) Aristotle Nichomachean Ethics Person who defame is consider morally bad in a sense that by disrespecting the existence of Islamic culture that is addressed to all Muslims community will lead conflict between culture to culture. With virtue ethics, a reason for peace on earth is consider as the supreme end. |

No. In the chat room that holds no barrier and free expression and communication, chatters are not aware of other's purpose that would something to be relative to each oneself for as long as what they are doing brings them happy. Some persons have a purpose in the chat room for fun, others for flaming, others for acquiring honest information and some others are as sort of disgusting the topic. Then what happen to the goal of communication in unmanaged chat room if people around is based to his own expression and happiness. The goal is defeated.
In my viewpoint, if the barrier is removed that is given the freedom then the real purpose of chatting is defeated. Flaming, hurts feelings, obscene and misconduct arouse in room that all I can get nothing but stress. |
