Aristotle Nicomachean Ethics, the Virtue Ethics appeals me for my own. It directs me as rational being in normative sense by choosing the 'mean', the happiness as an end reason to live that implied a social being. As social being, I saw this ethics that human action is righteous, fair, good and justice. However, the latter is applicable only to person has positive attitude. Immanuel Kant's Categorical Imperativeness appeals the most to me for everyone where 'good will' must be done out of duty and duty is the necessity of an action with respect to the set of laws. With different attitude, the human action is said to be moral if it follows the 'good will' stated by law. And with this, morally intolerable actions are universally morally bad. |
