Geac Computer Corporation (Geac acquired Extensity in March 2003) 2003-2004
Senior Director of Engineering: Responsible for the Enterprise software group that spanned three locations, and 
numbered roughly 50 engineers at its peak. 
  *  Core member of the Integration team following the Extensity acquisition, resulting in high retention and project 
      continuity including delivery of two major Extensity releases within 1st year.
  *  Delivered an HTML complement to Extensity's Java client in four months.
  *  Ramped-up Atlanta resources on Extensity development and support as part of the integration.
  *  Reviewed and revamped PSO delivery model and delivered tools that cut implementation costs by 30%.
  *  Resolved customer questions and issues through direct contact and by leveraging customer support resources.

  *  Served as the portal to core engineering for the PSO business unit, providing efficient, trackable 
      communications..  
  Acting Director of Engineering: 
  *  Responsible for four direct report managers and 36 indirect reports, delivering Macintosh and PC 
     connectivity. 
  *  Created the Connectivity group and built a team of eight engineers to work with third party vendors
  *  Developed business relationships with Insignia Solutions, Xinet, Neelum, Data Connection, Syntax, 
     Tektronix, Mainsoft, and NetManage, increasing software availability and customer satisfaction. 
  *  Delivered many releases of the following products to customers: SoftWindows, Netware Client, Appletalk, 
      PC-NFS, InPerson, Showcase, and Shockwave. 
  *  Planned new collaboration products and Win32 solutions for NT connectivity.

Xcelerated Systems, Inc.  1989-1993
Founder and Vice President Engineering: 
  *  Co-founded Xcelerated Systems and introduced "Liken" Macintosh emulation software into the marketplace. 
  *  Created and managed team of ten engineers in further development of Liken, including AppleTalk 
      networking support and porting to Sun, HP, and IBM workstations. 
  *  Responsible for development of MABI technology that allowed off-the-shelf Macintosh applications to run 
     on Unix workstations.
 
Other Professional Experience:

    Engineering Director and Engineering Manager with responsibility for design, implementation and 
    integration of Unix OS on prototype and production mini-supercomputer hardware. Additional projects 
    included compiler development, hardware simulator and teaching microprogramming courses to customers.
