INTRODUCTION:
There have been a great number of serial killers through history. Many of these criminals have been caught using evidence, which would seem primitive to what we have, and will deal with through this year. However, the results of these cases have pushed criminalistic labs to come up with better and more specific methods to collect and evaluate evidence.
TASK:
1) Pick one of the famous serial killers from the following web link:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Society/Crime/Murder/Serial_Murder/Serial_Killers/
2) Introduce your serial killer with some background information or characteristics of killers. You should include any information on the psychological profile of these types of people.
3) Describe what the killer did. You should discuss the who, what, where, when and how’s of the crimes. Include how the person was finally caught and what types of forensic evidence were used to solve the case.
This paper should be at least 2 full pages in length. 12 point font, double spaced, 1 inch margins all around, Include a title page and a bibliography. Make sure you site the sources you used. I would expect you to use at least 3 sources.
Enclosed are a list of resources that may help you. This document is posted on Edline, so you can use the hyperlinks.
This is due Monday, November 3.
