            Questions:

              -

What imaging tests?
              -

What is the minimum amount of testing to come to a diagnosis?

            What
            Dr. Hom says:

              -

The
best imaging study is an MRI to differentiate between an orbital
cellulitis from a pre-septal cellulitis from an acute chalazion
                or hordeolum.
              -

Likewise,
palpation would be very helpful. Feel for any hard nodule, but
don't press so hard that you might rupture the nodule and create
a cellulitis. Body Temperature, extraocular muscle functions are
                also relevant.
