Grand Rounds 76 Poor sight, OS, for several years |
Case History: This is 69-year old woman who presents for poor sight in the left eye of several years. The patient is in no apparent distress. She does have a history diabetes of several years that is managed with a single oral medication and mild hypertension. Questions: 1. Assuming an intact retina (B-Scan) what is the expected visual acuity? 2. Would a cataract surgeon think that this is an easy or difficult procedure? |
